Stephen Wiles

Stephen is a Google Certified Trainer and can provide training for staff, students and parents. A specialist in Google Workspace and Chromebooks, Stephen is able to tailor training events to client requirements.  

In June 2024 Sheffield Girls’, part of the GDST, successfully became a Google Reference School, one of only a handful of such digital beacon schools across the UK. As Head of e-Learning and the key facilitator in the schools digital strategy, Stephen was delighted that his digital vision had been adopted, implemented and then recognised by Google. Eager to spread the knowledge, enjoyment and power inherent in using Google Workspace in schools, Stephen is particularly keen to train staff in acquiring their Level 1 or Level 2 Google Certified Educator qualification. He has created a series of online videos to help staff (in advance of any in-person training), to familiarise themselves with the key Google Workspace tools: Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Classroom, Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sites, YouTube and Groups.
